The crews from Station #55 use Attack 55 as a second out piece of equipment as due the crews at "Station #52".  The primary job of the Fire Districts attacks are for wildland fires or fires located in fields.  The attacks can be also be used to transport firefighters to large scale incidents.

Attack 55 was purchased in 2000 and was built by a local builder.  It carries 450 gallons of water, has a 250 gallon per minute fire pump and has a 15 gallon foam cell.  It also carries a remote controlled nozzle located on the front bumper.  Attack 55 was originally painted yellow with a white roof, it was re-painted to match the Fire Districts new paint scheme.
