Purchased in 2006, the Spartan/Smeal engine and delivered early 2007.  It replaced truck 52, which is now used as the training engine.    Engine 52 has a 1,000 gallon water tank, a 1,500 gallon per minute fire pump and a 30 gallon foam tank.  This engine was designed with a rescue body,  which allows the firefighters to carrier more equipment.  Engine 52 is also equipped with a  Bullard Thermal Imaging Camera  which assists firefighter in searching for victims in a house fire.
