ENGINE 53

Engine 53

The Spartan/Smeal engine was purchased in 2006 and deliver in January 2007.  Engine 53 is the sister rig to "Engine 52" and “Engine 55”.   Engine 53 has a 1,000 gallon water tank, a 1,500 gpm fire pump and a 30 gallon foam tank.  Engine was designed with a rescue body that would allow the firefighters to carry more rescue equipment on the truck.  Engine is also equipped with a "Bullard Thermal Imaging Camera" which assists firefighters in searching for victims in a house fire.
