ENGINE 53 ________________________________________________________________________
Engine 53 was built in 1997 on a "HME" chassis with a "Smeal" body. Engine 53 has a 1,000 gallon water tank and a 1,500 gallon per minute pump. Engine 53 was assigned to Station 51 as the career engine for many years. After many miles, this engine was moved to Station 53 to help improve its life span.
