Engine 51 is used as a second piece at Station #51 and as the primary apparatus on medical calls in its first due area.  Engine 51 is a 1989 "Pierce Arrow" with a 1500 g.p.m. pump and a 1,000 gallon water tank.  The engine was originally delivered with the seats in the back open and exposed to the elements.  Engine 51 was sent to "Super-Vac" and the cab was enclosed.
