Station #52 - Training

Station #52 is the oldest station in the Fire District and is the busiest
company. This station also is the "Training
Center" for the District. The station was built in 1963 to
provided coverage for the east side of the City of Brighton. When it was
open it was a two-bay station with a room on the north side of the building for
meetings. As the needs of the Fire District increased, two additional bays
were added to south side. In 2004, a career staff was added and three
rooms were added between the original bays and the training room. Station
#52 responds to 2,000 calls annually.
2005 a mobile home trailer was added to the
west side of building, behind the bay doors and the existing bed rooms were
given to the Training Division to serve as offices. The training room was
updated with more modern equipment to facilitate the needs of the career staff
and volunteers. Station #52 is also were the Fire Districts "Board
of Directors" use for there meetings.
