scan0001.jpg (1725890 bytes)        The Greater Brighton Fire Protection District provides service for our taxpayers from five stations.  Two of the Fire Stations are located within the "City of Brighton", Station #51 and Station #52.   Station #53 is located on the south side of the District, Station #54 on the east and Station #55 on the west side of the  Fire District.   All Fire Stations are staffed with career firefighters 24/7 and supplemented with volunteers.

Under the "Adams County Dispatching Center (ADCOM)", the Greater Brighton Fire Protection District is assigned the 50's.  The tens digit identifies the Fire Department and the ones column designates the station the apparatus is assigned too.  Station #2 for the Fire District is Station #52 under the ADCOM dispatching system.

Stations within the city limits of Brighton have a minimum of the career firefighters on duty, with the outlying stations staff with a minimum of two career firefighters.  In 2006, the taxpayer agreed to increase the Districts mill level to increase the career staffing levels on the outlying stations to a minimum of 3 career firefighters at each stations.  The Fire District builds and remodels Fire Stations to met the needs of today as well as the future.
